Meta introduces Voicebox, an advanced AI model for speech synthesis. 

Meta, formerly known as Facebook, has unveiled Voicebox, a cutting-edge AI model designed to generate realistic speech from text. Although still in development, Voicebox shows promise for various applications, including audiobook production, movie dubbing, and lifelike chatbot interactions.


Rajeev Chandrasekhar announces government investigation into Realme's data collection feature. 


 Rajeev Chandrasekhar, India's minister of state for electronics and IT, has declared that the government will initiate an investigation into a data capturing feature found in Realme smartphones. Dubbed "Smart Assistant," this feature gathers user data, including location, apps, and browsing history, without obtaining explicit consent.


Google Lens gains the ability to identify skin conditions from phone-captured images.


Google Lens, the augmented reality (AR) tool that enhances understanding of the surrounding world, now includes a feature capable of identifying various skin conditions. Users can simply point their phone's camera at a skin ailment, and Google Lens will provide an accurate identification.


Twitter shifts focus to video and commerce in a business overhaul.



Twitter has announced a major revamp of its business strategy, with a primary focus on video content and e-commerce. The company plans substantial investments in both areas and aims to collaborate with other companies to create innovative video and commerce experiences for its user base.
